Children's Book about Obama Claims White People 'Would Never Vote for a Black President'

This book complies with the new "Common Core Standards" that are being pushed forward in states all across the country. In order to comply with the new standards, local school districts have begun to introduce new books and curriculum into their teaching.

This particular book makes the hasty generalization that all white voters would have refused to vote for Obama because of his race. It continues to say that Obama made race a part of his campaign, and that is why he won.

"But some people said Americans weren't ready for that much change. Sure Barack was a nice fellow, they said. But white voters would never vote for a black president," the book claims. "Other angry voices were raised. Barack's former pastor called the country a failure. God would damn the United States for mistreating its black citizens, he said."

The book, approved for children as young as seven years old, also goes on to specifically mention controversial comments made by President Obama’s former pastor Jeremiah Wright, while also claiming that the president has worked to bring whites and blacks together.

The book’s comments were brought to the attention of the “Moms Against Duncan” Facebook page, a group of parents and education activists opposed to U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan who recently claimed that “white suburban moms” only opposed Common Core because it showed that their children weren’t as smart as they thought, attempting to paint the nation-wide backlash against the curriculum as a race based issue.

“Would it have been possible for him to be elected (twice) without the support of vast numbers of white Americans?” one member stated.

The book appears to follow the viewpoint that all opposition to the president is based purely on race, which has reached near-comedic levels in its absurdity. Some are now even claiming that opposition to Obamacare is pure racism, despite 55 percent of the public being opposed to its disastrous roll out as millions get dropped from their current providers.

The book raises even more questions over what exactly children are being taught through the Common Core approved curriculum, which has continued to produce inaccurate and highly questionable material.
This is not the first time we have seen new books introduced to comply with Common Core Standards have subversive political agendas. Just last month there was a story that detailed a textbook being used in Texas that literally rewrote the Constitution.

Am I living in a dream? Do pigs now fly – or has hell frozen over?

CNN actually published an article placing full blame on Democrats for the Obamacare regulation that has forced insurance companies to cancel millions of insurance policies nationwide.

CNN Wrote:

Senate Democrats voted unanimously three years ago to support the Obamacare rule that is largely responsible for some of the health insurance cancellation letters that are going out.

In September 2010, Senate Republicans brought a resolution to the floor to block implementation of the grandfather rule, warning that it would result in canceled policies and violate President Barack Obama’s promise that people could keep their insurance if they liked it.

On a party line vote, Democrats killed the resolution, which could come back to haunt vulnerable Democrats up for re-election this year.

“The District of Columbia is an island surrounded by reality. Only in the District of Columbia could you get away with telling the people if you like what you have you can keep it, and then pass regulations six months later that do just the opposite and figure that people are going to ignore it. But common sense is eventually going to prevail in this town and common sense is going to have to prevail on this piece of legislation as well,” Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley said at the time.

Ok – so I followed the ACA (a.k.a. ObamaCare) since before it was passed; as the law was being debated, argued amended etc. Having worked in Finance – having colleagues and clients who are Healthcare Finance & Service professionals – over and over again – I looked for any components of the law that were going to actually drive down costs of premiums, deductibles; or the costs of delivering care, etc.  From the deliberations, to the parliamentary tricks, to the media hype gamesmanship, to the straight party line vote where not one Republican was in support – AND – ultimately the fact that the Obama Administration had not reached out to any of the Medical Provider, Insurance Industry or Healthcare Finance Experts to receive input on crafting a national healthcare policy…. (please see Was Obamacare Really Developed by the Best and the Brightest?) - I have been convinced since this law was passed - that were are totally screwed.

Remember my previous posts where I have been sharing about the evils of Obamacare? I even shared how the Obama Administration held secret meetings with the Pharmaceutical industry – but chose to demonize the insurance industry because they would not give into his Chicago-Style Political Thug-Ocracy. All the while promising that all the negotiations/deliberations would be broadcast on C-SPAN – see Obamacare’s Devilish Details - REPUBLICAN CORRUPTION THAT WAS COMPLICIT IN THE MANIPULATION TACTICS TO GET OBAMACARE PUSHED THROUGH August 2012

CNN has been pondering what they call “a particularly tough few days at the White House.” “Four out of five Americans have little or no trust in their government to do anything right,” says chief political analyst Gloria Borger. “And now Obama probably feels the same way.”

Our hearts go out to him, poor wee disillusioned thing. We are assured by the headline writers that the president was “unaware” of Obamacare’s website defects, and the NSA spying, and the IRS targeting of his political enemies, and the Justice Department bugging the Associated Press, and pretty much anything else you ask him about. But, as he put it, “nobody’s madder than me” at this shadowy rogue entity called the “Government of the United States” that’s running around pulling all this stuff.

I am convinced now more than ever - that this is by design. Obama wants to pull the strings and at the same time distance himself from the operational outcomes - what the Presidents men call - "Plausible Deniability".

Gloria Borger and CNN seem inclined to swallow the line that the president of the United States is not aware that he is president of the United States: For the media, just a spoonful of bovine manure makes the Obamacare medicine go down. It remains to be seen whether the American citizenry will be so genially indulgent.

In order to meet its target of 7 million enrollees by March 1, Obamacare needs to enroll approximately 46,358 Americans per day. So on its opening day it fell 46,352 short. Were it to maintain that enrollment rate, Obamacare would reach its target of 7 million enrollees in the year 5209.

At the same time as DOZENS of Obamacare enrollees were being signed up, MILLIONS of other Americans were having their health insurance canceled — including so many pundits of left (Kirsten Powers), right (Michelle Malkin), and center (David Frum) that the Pulitzers should introduce a prize for Best Suddenly Uninsured Writing. Among their number was Matthew Fleischer, who wrote in the Los Angeles Times:

Most young, middle-class Americans I know are happy that millions of previously uninsured people will receive free or heavily subsidized insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

We just didn’t realize that, unless we had health insurance at work, we’d be the ones paying for it.

Remember there is no such thing as a free lunch!

I have a really bad feeling about this – I predict things are going to get much, much worse.

Why Conservatives Want their Republican Representatives to Stand Firm!

ObamaCare wipes out health care plans in Alabama, New Jersey

Bad news arrived in mailboxes across New Jersey, as people discovered their health-insurance plans had been wiped out by ObamaCare.  Plans that didn’t measure up to the mandates imposed by the Affordable Care Act were being canceled, despite President Obama’s infamous vow that “if you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period.  No one will take it away, no matter what.”

How many folks in New Jersey were affected by this latest failure of Obama’s campaign promises?  Oh, only about eight hundred thousand or so.  The Star-Ledger reports this development “surprised some who were unaware that provisions in the new law known as ‘Obamacare’ were forcing insurance companies to scrap some plans they had previously offered.”

…. New Jersey and Alabama provide large-scale examples of disruptions happening across the country because of ObamaCare.  The New York Post talked with a very unhappy camper in Brooklyn who doesn’t understand why nobody else in the media wants to discuss her $250 per month ObamaCare premium hike:

“The president of the United States promised me repeatedly that if I liked my plan, I could keep it. End of story. This was a lie, and I will never for forgive him or anyone who cooperates with him for this egregious deception,” said Heather Cross, a 45-year-old widow from Williamsburg.

Cross said she was doing just fine with insurance bought under a “sole proprietor plan” that allowed self-employed individuals to pool for coverage with small businesses, a policy unique to New York.

She said she was paying $568 a month. …

Furthermore, there’s no reason for anyone to warmly embrace the notion that people who make a bit less money than she does will receive taxpayer assistance to cover their $2500 premium hikes.  The middle class will be transformed into another welfare dependency… which was one of ObamaCare’s true goals all along. …

The Heritage Foundation collected some more stories from people facing budget-busting premium increases under ObamaCare, and is encouraging more people to send in their stories:

George Schwab, who lives in North Carolina, was notified in a letter from Blue Cross Blue Shield on September 23 that his current plan doesn’t meet Obamacare’s benefit requirements and would be canceled at the end of the year. While Blue Cross did suggest a comparable plan, it was $980 more than what he now pays.

The President told the American people numerous times that… ‘If you like your coverage, you can keep it,’” Schwab told The Charlotte Observer. “How can we keep it if it has been eliminated? How can we keep it if the premium has been increased 430 percent in one year?”

Michael Yount and his wife, a retired couple in North Carolina, buy their individual insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield and pay about $380 a month with an $11,000 deductible. But they were just informed their new plan will be three times the price, costing them $1,124.50 a month, The Christian Science Monitor reported. The couple said they plan to drop out of formal health insurance, pay the penalty, and “self-insure.”

Cindy Vinson in California “will pay $1,800 more a year for an individual policy,” reports theSan Jose Mercury News. She is an Obama voter who was surprised by the personal impact of Obamacare. “Of course, I want people to have health care,” Vinson said. “I just didn’t realize I would be the one who was going to pay for it personally.”

None of these people have been allowed to make rational decisions about what they want, and what they’re willing to pay for it.  None of them were dealt with honestly by President Obama and his allies.  They were lied to, pure and simple – kept sedated with phony promises that nobody would take their preferred health care plans away, period, while a massive bill was shoved through Congress by people who didn’t read it.  Now they’re being told to shut up and accept the New Normal, no matter how badly the President’s program fails them.

The Founding Fathers would not be condemning House Republicans for their effort to defund ObamaCare. They would be applauding them. On the subject of who authorizes spending, the Constitution could not be more clear. According to Article 1, Section. 7, "All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives."

It is the job of the House of Representatives to spend, or not spend, the people's money. Based solely on the huge deficits our nation now faces, they have been up to this point derelict in their duty. Refusing to fund ObamaCare, whose exorbitant costs and incredible waste are now becoming apparent, would reassert the fiscal function the "Great Compromise" entrusted them with and demonstrate their care for how the people's money is disposed of.

All of this illustrates why the debate over whether to defund ObamaCare or find another path to revise it is most certainly related our national debt, the debt ceiling and the moral obligation we have in stopping reckless spending.

Those of us who are Middle Class Americans; those of us who are working hard to do more than just survive – but to THRIVE – we want our elected officials to STOP this monstrosity that will make our healthcare worse not better; while dramatically increasing our monthly expenses. That's immoral!

Bottom line – using the force of law to create a command and control over our entire healthcare system and forcing Americans to buy policies that are double what they already pay – is immoral and unconstitutional.

We correctly call this ‘Soft Tyranny’.
